Senior Account Manager - Bank, London (3-4 Days Onsite) - Up to £60,000 (£120,000 OTE) We are looking for an exceptional Senior Account Manager to lead the management of a key global asset management account for one of our valued clients. This role requires outstanding strategic thinking, energy, and confidence, combined with the expertise to foster and maintain strong relationships with both clients and publishers. The Role As part of this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading a small team of account and media executives (managing 2-3 individuals) with support from an Account Director.
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted consultant to their marketing teams.
- Developing and overseeing media strategies tailored to client needs.
- Leveraging client, internal, and third-party research to strengthen recommendations.
- Managing annual media plan budgets effectively.
- Participating in client and publisher meetings (both virtual and in-person) and sharing relevant insights with internal teams.
- Collaborating with publishers and media vendors to brief campaigns, evaluate proposals, and present findings to the team.
- Providing media assessments within campaign strategies and exploring event opportunities.
- Supervising ongoing campaign performance and post-campaign reporting.
- Contributing ideas to improve processes across the organisation.
- Taking part in pitching efforts for new business opportunities.
- An experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager with 3-5+ years in a media agency.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to use industry insights and data to meet objectives.
- Proactive and motivated, with a passion for identifying opportunities and driving initiatives.
- Skilled at mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and eager to work in a tech-driven environment.
- Open to adopting and providing feedback on new technologies introduced by the company.
- Interested in or willing to learn about financial news, business, and economics.
- Effective at time management, multitasking, and handling a dynamic workload.
- Confident in building internal and external relationships, with strong communication and presentation skills for meetings with clients and publishers.
- Organised, self-reliant, and a collaborative team player.
- Experience in an agency or publisher setting is essential.
- Analytical, positive, and solutions-oriented.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Familiarity with consumer surveys and research tools such as Nielsen or Kantar.
- Eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
