- Selling fresh & frozen artisan breads, pizza bases, cakes, flatbreads
- Selling to hotels, bars and restaurants
- 35-40k basic plus 10K OTE plus company car or allowance
- Covering the Liverpool, Merseyside, the Wirral, Chester

As our business continues to grow through acquisitions, we are looking to expand our successful sales team by adding an experienced and strong foodservice industry / FMCG sales professional.
- Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager to deliver budgeted sales targets in the Liverpool, Wirral, Chester region by managing and developing existing customer accounts and actively prospecting, winning & opening new accounts.
- As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of between 150-200 foodservice accounts.
- You will have full responsibility for cross selling and upselling to this account base in addition to undertaking new business to add further clients.
- Most of the success in this role will be through effective menu planning and food costing at head chef or contract catering manager level.
- You will be responsible for your own journey plan but will also be expected to be a team player and work towards overall company promotions and objectives in addition to your own targets.
- The role involves visiting existing independent customers, working with them to grow sales looking at lost products, additional products to range/category, NPD, promotions - work with your Telesales buddy to ensure alignment on customer growth plan - use your plan to share notes, actions & next steps.
- Candidates MUST have sold into the foodservice market previously
- Candidate who have worked for the major wholesalers within the market are extremely desirable
- You must be a foodie who is comfortable talking the Chefs on a daily basis
- 35-40k basic salary
- 25 Days Annual Leave including bank holidays.
