We are looking to appoint an Electrical & Automation Manager at our Quality Bakers manufacturing site in East Tamaki – New Zealand's largest plant bakery. As manager you will provide leadership to the Electrical and Automation team, to drive long-term reliability through preventative maintenance, failure analysis & Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation projects. Key accountabilities of the role include:

• Lead site based Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation projects and upgrades in line with the capital expenditure plans
• Manage the Electrical & Automation team to deliver reliability and reduce cost through increased efficiency of equipment
• Ensure Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation systems keep up to date with technology, and development to optimize plant performance
• Take ownership for Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation KPIs as reported in the Engineering scorecard

About You In order to make this role a success we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in automation preferably within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment. Other experience and qualifications we are looking for include:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrician & Automation, with a qualification in PLC programming
• Strong root cause analysis skills and ability for timely breakdown resolutions
• HSE knowledge and a commitment to driven HSE capability across the team
• A CI focus to continuously leverage opportunities to transform and innovate
