Network Engineer Permanent Full time Location Ontario Regional Office/London ON-Work can be done offsite (however the client would like the consultants to attend an onsite meeting once every 3 months) We are hiring for an experienced Network Engineer in the IT Operations team supporting a gaming client of ours and will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical networking systems; including Cisco technologies, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate infrastructure. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Requirements
- Collaborate with multiple project/program stakeholders, including the Business Units, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Business Systems Analysts, Assurance, IT infrastructure teams and third party vendors.
- 7+ experience in IP-based service provider environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, specifically relating to the routing of IP packets (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, MPLS VPN, and Multicasting) ·
- Experience-based knowledge of Cisco IP platforms such as 3850s, ISR and others. Software, Cisco IOS / IOX (XR)
- Experience-based knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, Wireless APs, Intrusion Preventions/ Intrusion Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Juniper MX-960, Hardware, Software.
- Experience-based knowledge of HP Switches (2530/2930, ISR Router 7750SR,7750c12,7210D/E/M platforms and services.
- In-depth knowledge of Security/DDoS Mitigation
- Individual must have or be eligible for AGCO Licensing
- 7+ years of Network Design & Management experience working in an Enterprise Group Solution delivery team, preferably in a Casino or Gaming and Entertainment industry or other large corporate environment
- 10+ years of technical experience in supporting an integrated WAN environment & knowledge of BGP/EIGRP/OSPF/STP protocols, GRE/IPSec, TACACS
- CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, ACE, PCNSE Certification in Network & Firewall Technologies
