Performs a strategic and hands-on role in operating the LEED element of the contract at KAPSARC. Responsibilities include setting up and developing the Environmental Management System and ensuring that the technical and other teams complete the necessary tasks to achieve LEED standards. Responsibilities: The primary duties include, but are not limited to: LEED Management
- Develop a site LEED credits attainment program aligned with EB O+M standards.
- Verify the completion of LEED NC elements based on construction activities.
- Prepare and operate metric reports against the following:
- Energy and other utility consumption metrics.
- Monitoring and targeting progress.
- Baseline target adherence.
- LEED attainment status.
- Audit activities against LEED standards.
- Develop and operate LEED green training systems to support LEED credit attainment.
- Support the Projects Engineer with requirements for LEED and the Sustainable Projects Charter for the site.
- Run the Environmental Management Program, including conducting site surveys and reporting progress against site goals.
- Provide input for performance indicators and ensure timely follow-up.
- Provide detailed and technically accurate reports to support budget decisions and technical responses to highlighted issues.
- Work with Procurement to ensure compliance with sustainable procurement policies.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- LEED AP system accreditation.
- Certified Energy Manager (AEE) is an advantage.
- LEED O+M expertise is a distinct advantage.
- Experience:
- Previous support of a LEED EB O+M project is a significant advantage.
- Experience working in the KSA on similar projects is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years in an Environmental and Energy Department supporting technical operations.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE Standards Level 1 & 2 systems for Audit, IPMVP, and other audit-supporting systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Action-oriented and results-driven.
- Effective decision-making and change management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional, tactful, and diplomatic in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible and adaptable in work approach to support contract requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel-based reporting with a technical focus.
- Having clear and concise procedures and guidelines for both line managers and employees to ensure policies are fully understood and implemented;
