Job Description - Safety Management System Specialist (00123843) Job Description Job Number: 00123843 Description (Saudi National Only) Grade: 6 Location: Riyadh Advert closing: 26/01/2025 Responsibilities

  1. Directly accountable to the RDC Mine Hunter Officer.
  2. Assist other Engineers in the RDC to generate Engineering Installation Guidance and Acceptance Procedures for internal RSNF Modifications and new service equipment.
  3. Assess equipment failures and performance shortcomings, developing suitable remedial solutions for implementation.
  4. Work closely with the senior RDC Naval Engineering Advisor (Mechanical/Electrical) to provide Mine Hunter Engineering advice within the RSNF.
  5. Liaise with the Prime Contractor during the delivery of the Platform Safety Management Service as part of Routine Services, attending all Prime Contractor lead Safety and Hazard meetings.
Job Requirements:
  1. An Engineer/Engineering Manager with a minimum of 5 years Naval experience in a similar role or equivalent military experience.
  2. Educated to a minimum BTEC National Certificate level (or equivalent) in an Engineering System related discipline, with specific links into Safety Management.
