Job Description: The Operations Manager-Logistics is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the logistics department. They will ensure that all processes are efficient and cost-effective, and that customer expectations are met. This role involves managing a team of logistics professionals, analyzing data to optimize operations, and implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire logistics operation, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics.
- Manage a team of logistics professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional processes.
