I&C GIS Team Lead You as a GIS Installation and Commissioning Team Lead will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be focusing on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products or equipment, including identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up. Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs. Developing ongoing relationships with customers to secure future business. Your Responsibilities

  1. Capability of leading a young and experienced GIS field services team.
  2. Managing daily site activities, ensuring expert and timely execution of orders regarding new assembly, malfunctions, preventive maintenance, and commissioning.
  3. Contributing to the successful completion of projects by meeting scheduling, cost, and material objectives.
  4. Participating in site meetings as required by various site organizations.
  5. Reviewing reports and correcting any mistakes, highlighting them for the project team to avoid in the future.
  6. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and closing hazards whenever applicable in your area.
  7. Coaching and monitoring the team, ensuring the competency matrix is updated and driving results towards the organization’s targets.
  8. Planning and monitoring team utilization in projects.
  9. Maintaining solid communication with your team regularly to understand their needs and guide them.

Your Background
  1. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  2. 8+ years of experience with GIS preferred.
  3. Strong experience with SF6 GAS handling.
  4. PGHV Transmission and Sub transmission GIS product knowledge preferred.
  5. Knowledge in MS Project professionally.
  6. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
