Lead Information & Document Management Specialist
Maintaining project documentation files is a key responsibility, encompassing technical data, engineering and supplier drawings, technical specifications, purchase orders, and other essential documents. Accurate updates and maintenance of the project document control record-keeping system are also critical. This role involves preparing transmittals and distributing data as directed by supervisors or team leads. Collaboration with the reproduction department ensures that all necessary copying and distribution requirements are met according to project procedures. Beneath general supervision, this position tackles complex problems requiring in-depth knowledge of industry best practices. Utilizing experience and problem-solving skills, solutions are developed and processes are continually improved. Minimum Requirements: Typically acquired through an undergraduate degree and extensive experience (15+ years) in the field, these skills form the foundation for success in this role. Job Details: This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation files
- Update and maintain the project document control record-keeping system
- Prepare transmittals and distribute data as directed
- Collaborate with the reproduction department for required reproduction associated with copy and distribution requirements per project procedures
