Senior Accountant Job Location : UAE Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards. • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. • Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. • Handle tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements. • Streamline accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency. Skills : • Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, macros, financial modeling). • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and audit practices. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or NetSuite). • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. • 5+ years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles. • CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification is highly preferred.
