As a National Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with key retail partners, including Booker, Nisa, and Booths. This role is ideal for a proactive and commercially driven individual with a passion for the wine industry and a flair for building strong, collaborative relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the National Account Manager in the development and execution of strategic account plans.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with key retail partners to ensure strong brand visibility and sales growth.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and maximise account performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to deliver seamless customer service and execute promotional activities.
- Assist in negotiations for pricing, promotions, and product listings, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor competitor activity and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to the wider team.
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or a commercial role within the FMCG or wine industry.
- A strong understanding of the UK retail landscape, particularly convenience and independent sectors.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A passion for wine and WSET qualification (or a willingness to undertake) is highly desirable.
