These positions are complemented by audio specialists and salespeople supporting our customers around the world. We are expanding our search for a Human Resources Professional who understands the challenge of interpreting growth by defining job profiles for evolving positions. Our fast-growing workforce presents special challenges in securing the ideal candidates for hard-to-find specialized talent. The Human Resource Manager plays a leading role in the company’s recruiting strategy, planning employment advancement and new positions across all departments with senior management. Management of policy, on-boarding, compliance, equity and retention are central tenets to the successful candidate. To achieve success in these facets of the job, you will
- Recruit and Hire – Participate in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of new employees.
- Train and Develop – Engage with department heads to plan training and development programs for employees.
- Drive Retention – Develop strategies to engage and retain employees.
- Manage Payroll and Benefits – Analyze and improve on the benefits program, while liaising with accounting to ensure payroll and benefits programs are processed correctly.
- Enhance Governance – Handle compliance with employment standards, oversee relations and workplace issues and disputes, as well as workplace health and safety.
- A degree in human resource management or a business-related field.
- 10+ years in a human resource role
- 5+ years’ experience in a management position
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Deep knowledge of Ontario’s Employment Standards Act
