As a fashion house we lay emphasis on design aesthetics, craftsmanship & service. We want to focus on maintaining an edgy mix between luxury & style, sticking to our brand's DNA. Our parent company, SHEETAL has been in the business for 50+ years and have been the pioneers in Fashion Retail. The likes of Hemant Trivedi, Manish Malhotra & Aki Narula have solely worked at SDS in the past, before venturing out to do their own labels. Job Summary: As a Production Merchandiser, you will oversee all aspects of production, from material procurement to final product delivery, online and offline. Your role is essential in ensuring the seamless execution of our production processes. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design & production teams to understand specifications & requirements.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective & quality materials.
- Develop and manage production plans, ensuring timely delivery.
- Establish quality control processes to maintain standards.
- Maintain supplier relationships and handle purchase orders.
- Calculate production costs and assist in pricing strategies.
- Address production issues and find solutions to keep processes on track.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Managing end-to-end online orders across all omni-channels.
- Maintain comprehensive cost sheets, tracking all expenses from start to finish, ensuring accurate cost analysis & pricing strategies.
- Graduate or Diploma holder with excellent time management skills.
- 3-5 years of experience in Merchandising.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of various Menswear Silhouettes & embroidery techniques.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments & work collaboratively.
