Senior Civil 3D Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil 3D Designer to join our dynamic team in Auckland. If you enjoy producing designs and drawings across an interesting range of land development projects, and providing guidance and technical support within a team, then we would like to hear from you.

About the role

As a Senior Civil Designer, with strong experience in Civil 3D, you will work across a range of projects, responsible for the preparation of detailed design and documentation, consent applications, and reports for subdivisions, roading, earthworks, drainage, and storm water design across residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare drawings and documentation for:
• Masterplanning of civil infrastructure
• Civil design reports and specifications
• Co-ordination of project documentation
• Production of detailed models and drawings for all design stages
• Provide design, management and quality control administration for projects

About you

• NZCE Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification with 5-8 years+ experience.
• Strong experience designing and detailing civil engineering projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Conversant with relevant NZ Building Codes and Statutory Requirements. Design compliant with NZTA and NZBC and relative standards requirements and be motivated to learn and develop your expertise.
• Adaptable with a high attention to detail and excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
• Relish technical challenges and problem solving involved in producing the latest technical designs.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people.
