Position Overview:
As a Security Systems Graduate Trainee, you will embark on an exciting journey into the world of security systems, with a strong focus on understanding and supporting the integration of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) and Access Control Systems (ACS). This position is specifically designed for recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow within the security technology sector.Key Responsibilities:
- Learning and Development: Gain a comprehensive understanding of security system architectures, focusing on CCTV and ACS. Familiarize yourself with Honeywell's product offerings in Physical Security.
- Technical Understanding: Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications relevant to Honeywell security products. Develop basic knowledge in architecting solutions and crafting compliant and efficient bids based on customer/project requirements.
- Customer Engagement: Engage in customer-facing activities, supporting technical sales discussions. Perform product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POC), and assist in the design of technical responses to Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP). Analyze product development needs and present technical sales briefings to customers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and consultants, identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and deepen client interactions. Educate consultants on the latest technology trends and developments within Honeywell.
- Market Awareness: Utilize tools and themes to establish market awareness and influence various stakeholders within the construction project chain.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop efficient, compliant technical solutions. Participate actively in the Pre-Sales and post-sales prescription process, coordinating with consultants, designers, and specifiers.
- Action Plans and Roadmaps: Initiate and implement action plans for the prescription process with clients, consultants, and developers, in cooperation with the Sales account team. Contribute to creating a customer technical roadmap that includes both internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
- A keen interest in security systems and technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable to changing technologies and market demands.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with CCTV and ACS systems is beneficial, though not required.
- Previous experience in customer service or technical support is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
