Purpose: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing your region and the respective franchisees and stores. You will help your franchisees fulfill the Pizza Nova standards while providing an extraordinary customer experience in a clean and safe environment. You will lead your region in operations, staffing, quality, service, cleanliness, financial performance, and team development. Most of all, you will help the support office and franchisees achieve organizational goals. The district manager position is an extension of the support office in the field. Key Accountabilities:
- Establish and build a trusting relationship with franchisees by conducting valuable and purposeful store visits to improve business results, and identify business opportunities to improve sales growth, profitability, and customer service.
- Lead with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the cultural values of Pizza Nova.
- Ensure that team members are performing effectively, and standards are met while providing exceptional customer service that moves customers through efficiently.
- Coach the franchisees within your region to deliver our service strategy.
- Motivate and support the franchisees within the region to develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives. Follow up consistently to ensure accountability to plans.
- Review store environments and key business performance indicators within your region.
- Identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide coaching to the franchisee and team to act and achieve operational goals.
- Actively problem-solve and remove obstacles for your region with the intent to drive positive change and influence the customer experience.
- Lead all areas of new restaurant openings, transfers, and working with franchise development.
- To be an external resource to support region-wide operations in the field with relation to other departments such as Accounting, Marketing, Real Estate, and Store Development.
- Establish business goals and financial targets with franchisees to drive top-line sales.
- Conduct quality service cleanliness audits to ensure adherence to brand standards.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Communicate with skilled tradespeople for equipment repairs, maintenance, and construction.

- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels.
- Proficient in excel, Microsoft word, outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Progressive QSR/retail experience (5 years)
- Regional Manager or equivalent level position (1-3 years)
- Experience analyzing financial reports and P&L statements.
- Business planning
- Ability to travel, including overnight as required.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, and weekends.
