BIM Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical )

Role Description We are currently seeking highly motivated and results-driven BIM Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) at Cochin ,India Office. This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) . The BIM Engineer will be responsible for implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, collaborating with architects and civil engineers, and ensuring seamless integration of systems. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage accurate, high-quality 3D BIM models for MEP systems using tools like Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using software like Navisworks.
• Generate detailed shop drawings, schedules, and quantities from BIM models.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to BIM standards and project specifications, including LOD and BEP requirements.
• Support design teams by providing performance analysis and simulations for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Regularly update and audit BIM models to maintain accuracy and compliance with industry standards
• Train team members in BIM software and workflows to enhance overall project efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions and workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, or a related field
• .Certification in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus

• 2-5 years of experience in BIM modeling for MEP system
• Proven experience in creating and managing BIM models for large-scale project

• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, construction workflows, and coordination.
• Familiarity with BIM standards and protocol
