Network Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Network Engineer. This is a 10-12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Burnaby, BC (Onsite). Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Routing Protocols, Palo Alto, Cisco, Pytho, Bash.
• Years of Exp required : 10 to 12 Years.
• Routing Protocols : Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols.
• VPN : Experience with various VPN technologies and configurations.
• NAT Security : Knowledge of Network Address Translation and related security practices.
• Palo Alto Firewall : Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Nexus Switching : Proficiency with Cisco Nexus switches.
• Switching Protocols : Understanding of VLANs, STP, and other switching protocols.
• Wireless : Experience with wireless network technologies.
• Cisco ISE : Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
• Cloud : Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• ASA Firewall or Palo Alto firewalls : either Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Scripting : Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages (e.G., Pytho, Bash).
