French As Second Language Teacher

Alliance Française Vancouver ( is looking for an experienced FLE teacher to join our dynamic team! Position Details:

• Contract Type: full-time in-person position.
• Working Hours: 5 days per week, shifts up to 8: 00pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
• Work Permit: applicant must be allowed to work in Canada
• Audience and Courses: Teaching children (ages 3.5 to 11), teenagers (12+), and adults through private lessons, corporate courses, government training.

Candidate Profile:

• Required Degree: Master’s in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) or equivalent.
• Required Experience: At least 12 months of full-time teaching experience with diverse audiences (young children, teenagers, and adults) in both online and in-person group settings.
• Preferred Certification: DELF-DALF examiner-corrector certification.

Key Qualities: flexible, motivated, and enthusiastic. Team-oriented and independent. Comfortable with new technologies (online teaching, interactive whiteboards). Creative, innovative, and familiar with CEFR levels. Compensation: hourly Rate: $35.91 (for the first 12 months).
