Your Role Reporting to the Senior Superintendent, the Site Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative needs of the project. The appropriate candidate should have 2 years administrative experience in a construction environment. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate deliveries of materials to site in an organized manner
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner
- Book and coordinate meetings and create and distribute meeting minutes
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, resource room schedules, various spreadsheets and training materials
- Support site team in all administrative functions
- Assist in ordering and managing lumber, steel, and trusses to meet production expectations
- Assist in scheduling municipal inspections
- Update production schedule bi-weekly for Superintendent(s)
- Track and manage material rentals with vendors
- Send out Q/A and PDI items to trades and assist Superintendent(s) to track, and manage items in order to complete deficiencies
- 2 years of administrative experience in a fast paced, high volume, construction environment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, both oral and written.
- Skills in building relationships with a broad network of contacts, including trade partners and suppliers
- Proficient with MS Office software; experience with NEWSTARan asset
