TCS Hiring for Senior Azure Data Engineer Experience: 6 to 8 Years Only Job Location: PAN India Job Description: Must Have: Hands on experience in SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake reporting tools and services such as Power BI and Tableau Data Engineer Skillset and Experience: · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/data science technical or related experience · 5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (e.g., using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols)· Experience with data modelling techniques such as star schemas, snowflake, data vaulting, normalized and de-normalized models, handling “slowly-changing” dimensions/attributes, NoSQL patterns, etc. · Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data- center contexts required · Experience on the Azure cloud suite. · Previous experience building conceptual/logical/physical data models is a requirement · Strong data modeling, data engineering, and technological knowledge, especially with regard to topics like data governance, and data domains · Strong background in metadata management, data modeling, and related tools · Experience in team management, communication, and presentation preferred · Ability to work with both technical and business resources · Analytical ability to develop and implement new requirements from data consumers Hands on experience in SQL Server, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake reporting tools and services such as Power BI and Tableau Data Engineers Responsibility:

• Designs, implements, and documents data modeling solutions, which include the conceptualization and deployment of physical data models (e.g., tables, views).
• Work with Data Architect and Solution Designer, Technical Lead and Business solutions group Director to figure out best solutions that fulfills business needs and then work towards development of those solutions
• Designing, developing, and implementing Enterprise Data Warehousing, ETL and real-time / batch data exchanges
• Deal with structured and semi-structured data
• Debugging and Troubleshooting
• Communicate and translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for our business and stakeholders.
• Work with domain teams to implement data flow and modelling strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
• Engage critical stakeholders (e.g., domain sponsor, domain owner, data provider, data consumers) to ensure the data model design is aligned with business needs and implementation priorities
• Work with architects to identify the architecture and infrastructure components, interfaces to data sources. Provide guidance on tools supporting automated data loads, analytic models, and model visualization
• Ensure guiding principles from enterprise data model is incorporated with domain/ sub-domains
• Adopt and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models
• Work with data engineers, data stewards, and other business/technical team members to align on best practices and improve operational efficiency.
