The Regional Manager Rural Banking Lower South Island role is to develop, implement, and drive an effective regional plan aligned to the Rural strategy. As a leadership role, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of this regional team of 8. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the Rural strategy of this region, ensuring the plan supports the image, profile, and overall direction.
• Lead an effective team, mentoring and guiding to successfully perform, improve profitability, and delight the customer.
• Support and implement targeted marketing campaigns, developing professional networks, referrals, and a strong understanding of the competitor market.
• Provide thought leadership and work collaboratively with the wider national team.
• Effective communicator, warm and professional.
• Strong presentation skills, networking, and development to a senior level.
• Experience and success at leading a sales team.
• Finance industry experience – minimum 10 years.
