With unparalleled experience, gained from working on hundreds of projects, our multi-disciplinary team of Architects, Planners, Engineers, Scientists, Modelers, and Project Managers work alongside our clients to deliver effective solutions that stand the test of time.Job DescriptionDue to the continuing success and growth of our Middle East team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firm.At AESG, we are looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire & Life Safety team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines based in our Riyadh office.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Fire Protection Engineer seeking a leading role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.Key Responsibilities:Lead tasks on projects and report to managers and directors.Lead the successful delivery of projects to a high standard.Maintain high quality of all deliverables with efficient time delivery.Act as the main point of contact for efficient project delivery.Prepare and review fire protection systems (firefighting, fire alarm, smoke control, emergency lighting, LPG) drawings for authority submission and approval.Write fire protection reports and QAQC other reports acting as deliverable approver.Produce accurate and timely submittals to agreed deadlines.Prepare and issue final FLS Strategy reports and studies when assigned by managers and directors.Lead the continuous development of FP design deliverables and FP team members.Manage project resourcing as well as FP team members with lower grades.Act as PM and PD for FLS and multidisciplinary projects as per AESG project management standards.Meet the timeline set for the generation of all fire and life safety designs, reports, and related submission tasks such as client meetings and workshops.Keep traceability and version control for all generated design and technical submittals.Contribute to the successful delivery of projects.Actively pursue continued professional development through the completion of training modules.Engage in the implementation and maintenance of the IMS and its processes and achieve expected outputs.Conduct all FLS activities in a quality, healthy, and safe manner, reporting any observed problems/risks to the concerned head or personnel.The ideal candidate fits the below profile:Motivated and self-driven (entrepreneurial outlook).Committed to technical excellence.Good relationship builders (internal and external).Must have/be:A BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire Safety/Protection or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years experience practicing fire protection engineering/consultancy.IFE Member.CFPS and PMP Certification.Sound technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial, and Hotels sectors.AESG is a multidisciplinary specialist consultancy, offering a consultancy service and work environment like no other.Through our world-class reputation for innovative thinking, pushing projects to outperform expectations through smart application of planning, engineering, and architectural solutions, our project portfolio includes some of the world's most forward-thinking and exciting new developments.The success of our company is built on the success of individuals.
