In this position you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Group's IT technical requirements. This includes infrastructure cloud services, and security, ensuring the seamless operation and future-proofing of the company's IT systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle management of IT infrastructure.
- Build and grow an infrastructure strategy that supports business growth with highly available, performance-oriented solutions.
- Safeguard the integrity of the Group's IT identity.
- Design and maintain a robust network and security architecture to meet future needs.
- Develop and implement effective IT security strategies, ensuring adaptability to change and growth.
- Maintain and enforce IT security standards.
- Oversee high-quality intrusion detection processes and response systems.
- Manage data backup and recovery operations across the organisation.
- Design and maintain innovative disaster recovery strategies and plans.
- Optimise connectivity, resilience, and performance of IT systems.
- Manage Azure services, focusing on cost efficiency and functionality.
- Oversee contractor service delivery to ensure quality outcomes.
- Comply with the Groups quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures to foster a culture of continuous improvement and a safe workplace, adhering to current Worksafe NZ requirements.
- Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.

- Extensive hands-on experience with designing and supporting Azure, network, and security services in complex hybrid environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity controls and incident response strategies.
- Proven team leadership abilities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including vendor management expertise.
- Knowledge of ITIL and project delivery frameworks.
- Experience leading a national or international multi-site network or the ambition to take this next step.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Industry certifications for cloud, server, and hardware vendors.
- PRINCE2 certification.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into everyday language.
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service to stakeholders.
- Understanding of the importance of Change Management processes.
- Commitment to knowledge sharing within the Infrastructure Team and the broader IT Team.
- A minimum of 5 years in a technical infrastructure role.
- 2+ years in a management role with similar responsibilities.
- Experience migrating on-premise workloads to cloud solutions.
