Nga Kawenga me nga Mahi - Responsibilities and Duties This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a changing environment. The focus of the Senior Communications Advisor role is to:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the organization's public image and communications effectiveness.
- Keep Council, Iwi, the community and stakeholders informed and engaged in the democratic process.
- Employ a variety of relevant methods, mediums and technologies to get the message across.
- Support and empower the wider team to develop their skills.
- Support managers at all levels to develop impactful content and achieve productive outcomes with communication.
- 3+ years experience in a communications, public relations, or professional social media role.
- Qualification in communications, public relations or marketing.
- Excellent digital skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.
- Experience of leading and supporting team members - in either a formal or informal capacity.
