The Factory Manager is a pivotal role within the Perfume / Beauty / Cosmetics industry, responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in factory operations, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards. The Factory Manager will lead a team, manage resources efficiently, and implement strategies to optimize production workflows. This role is crucial for driving innovation and maintaining the competitive edge of the company in a rapidly evolving market. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily factory operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  2. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
  3. Monitor and maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  4. Manage and train factory staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the factory environment.
  6. Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D and Marketing, to align production with market trends.
  8. Prepare and manage the factory budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  9. Implement new technologies and processes to enhance production capabilities.
  10. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Proven experience in a managerial role within the manufacturing sector.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  4. In-depth knowledge of production processes and quality assurance.
  5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  8. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  9. Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  10. Adaptability to changing market conditions and technological advancements.
