Find out more here: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategic Asset Management Engineer/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, development, and management of water infrastructure assets. You will play a key role in ensuring the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our water systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic asset management plans for water infrastructure.
- Manage and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize data analytics and asset management software to optimize asset performance and lifecycle management.
- Prepare and present reports on asset performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Typically, 3 years + experience in a consultancy environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset management and project management within the water and/or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and tools.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Good knowledge of relevant industry related Australian Standards and WSAA codes would be advantageous.
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartered status would be advantageous.
