E&I Supervisor / Engineer

Serves as a subject matter expert in E&I equipment failures and ensures the reliability of those equipment. Provides technical expertise to plant personnel (Supervisors and technicians) on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and ensuring E&I equipment meets the design intent. Diagnose and troubleshoot critical and major plant issues related to E&I, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify solutions, and drive continuous plant improvement initiatives while managing costs effectively. Troubleshoot and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller/SIS), with a strong emphasis on experience with Allan Bradley PLCs. Provide expertise in maintaining electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, MV/LV switchboards, Fire alarm and CCTV systems. Mentor technicians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards. Supports Team Lead in developing the maintenance budget to support the maintenance strategy. Ensure adherence to plant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Actively participate in HSE walkdowns and initiatives to maintain high safety standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Instrumentation / Maintenance Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance in a chemical or petrochemical or pharmaceutical plant operations. Strong knowledge of field instrumentation, electrical systems, control systems, and industry standards. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a methodical approach to problem resolution. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and teamwork. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to various stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to stay current with new technologies and apply innovative solutions to optimize plant operations. Effective leadership and mentoring skills with a commitment to developing team members. Flexible and resourceful, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
