Join our well-established team of specialists across reclamation, coastal adaptation, restoration, coastal protection & resilience, and marine structures and further develop your career with an international consultancy. We are seeking a Project Director (Design) with a minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience to undertake the following: Client based key account manager Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the projects. Working with appointed Project Control in monitoring all projects health under their account including financial, deliverables and timeline. Establish and maintain project quality standard & best practices as well as consistency of the services, processes, methodologies and documentation. Ensure to carry out peer review with Centre of Excellence (CoE) on design matters for all the projects on regular basis. Manage clients' expectations and requests as well as addressing clients concerns. Monitor and report on project progress, actual / forecast cost, resources, risks, and issues to senior management, providing recommendations and mitigation plans as necessary on regular basis. Review and sign off project critical/major milestone including variation order approval. Engage key stakeholders including clients, executive and other relevant parties. Facilitate communication, collaboration and conflict resolution among project managers. Build and maintain strong relationship with clients and stakeholder by anticipating client needs, address concerns proactively and aim for high level of client satisfactions. Conduct performance review, providing feedback, coaching and professional support development to the project managers. Work together with Business Development Manager to prepare bidding document including preparing technical write up, planning schedule and resources planning. Estimate the tender bid fee and assist the Business Development Manager in obtaining internal clearance prior to bid submission. You will have/be: Minimum a Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore. Minimum Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience. Comprehensive knowledge of and extensive experience in infrastructure, large scale coastal engineering works etc. with a proven track record of successful design projects and leadership roles. Deep understanding of civil engineering design codes and planning parameters, preferably for coastal / reclamation projects. Capable of leading project teams and resolving issues quickly and effectively throughout project development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Well-developed presentation skills. Team player and able to multi-task. Disciplined, self-motivated and resourceful to achieve outcomes. Experience in stakeholder engagement.
