Grocery Supervisor - New World Waitaki At New World Waitaki we have a reputation for delivering exceptional Customer Service and we have a great opportunity for an energetic, passionate Grocery Supervisor / back up duty manager to join our team. This is a fast-paced role providing assistance in the day-to-day grocery department operations. This will include supervising the evening grocery team and duty management (in absence of other managers) 2 days per week. The primary role of the Duty Manager is to lead, communicate, plan and organize the day-to-day running of the grocery evening team to maintain the highest possible standards. Skills and Attributes required are:- Leadership experience or a natural leadership style who leads by example
- Effective communication
- Dedication to superior customer service
- Good computer skills – or ability to learn with ease
- Organized with the ability to plan well, prioritize and multitask
- Physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting
- Forklift license or ability to obtain one
- Common sense and initiative
