Network Operations - Enterprise

We're urgently hiring for one of our direct clients. Position: Network Operation- Enterprise Location: Pantai Dalam, KL Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Eligibility: Malaysians Only

Roles And Responsibilities

• Network Incident & Problem Management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations across all departments.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents and technical issues faced by stakeholders.
• Respond to and troubleshoot major network incidents, resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Network Configuration and Maintenance
• Perform routine routers, switches, and WiFi AP configurations based on best practice policies and standards.
• Apply network upgrades and patches to keep infrastructure up-to-date and secure.
• Ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and regular maintenance tasks (e.g., backup configurations).
• Network Performance Optimization
• Analyze network traffic patterns and recommend improvements to optimize network performance and reduce latency.
• Conduct periodic network performance reviews and provide suggestions for bandwidth management and capacity planning.
• Change Management
• Implement network changes per the change management process.
• Document all changes to network configurations and maintain up-to-date network diagrams and records.
• Collaborate with the change management team to ensure minimal impact on services during changes.
• Security and Compliance
• Work closely with the cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the network.
• Ensure that network operations are compliant with industry regulations and internal security standards.
• Capacity and Resource Planning
• Monitor network usage and anticipate capacity needs to support growth and future projects.
• Provide input into capacity planning and network scaling decisions.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Generate regular performance reports and KPIs to highlight network status and areas for improvement.

Education & Experience Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunication or related field
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in IP Network projects / operations.
• Active professional certification(s) in Network technologies such as JNCIA, CCNA, HCIA would be an advantage
• Working experience in Fortigate / Cisco Meraki SD-WAN would be an advantage
