Senior Associate (Shipping Asset Finance)

A fantastic opportunity exists for a role for a Senior Associate to join our Shipping Asset Finance Team in Singapore. With a highly supportive team culture and leading international clients. Ideally the successful candidate will possess at least 7 years' PQE experience in shipping asset finance in order to undertake the work and responsibility entailed in this role. About you We are seeking a candidate who is/has: Qualified in England and Wales and/or any other similar common law jurisdiction Ideally has at least 5 - 7 years' post-qualification relevant working experience in an international law firm Experienced in a broad range shipping asset finance work including ship leasing, sale and purchase, novation, operating lease, lease extension, release of security, purchase leaseback and novation, acquisition and financing, co-leasing, etc Capable of taking the lead in the execution of sizeable client engagements Attention to detail and demonstrates good practical case handling skills Able to work under pressure and handle concurrent tasks A team player with good communication skills, both written and verbal Confident, is willing to learn and take on responsibility at assigned tasks, whilst understanding it is okay to ask for support and guidance Efficient, organised, and can demonstrate excellent time management skills Personable and able to communicate comfortably with colleagues and clients What's On Offer Collegiate company culture Flexible working environment Compensation commensurate with experience Competitive staff benefits, annual leave, medical insurance coverage Opportunities for career growth and professional development through our global training program A range of wellness programs, office, and team bonding events Additional Information Kindly note that this job description is not contractual.
