Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful and Future-Oriented The Project and Systems Engineering Team Leader is a role which focuses upon the people and processes of the New Zealand portfolio. The role will be based in Auckland and will have a number of direct reports that it will be responsible for. The position should ensure it provides the best for its people, whilst ensuring compliance to Siemens' best practices and policy. The role shall also undertake a delivery function, but further support the technical growth within the region. It is expected that this role will build upon customer relationships and facilitate growth. In this role you will:

  1. Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals
  2. Provide oversight and direction to the employees in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
  3. Coordinate the corresponding internal interfaces with the respective partners in departments of development, project execution, test center and with other internal partners
  4. Coordinate the corresponding external interfaces with assessors, onshore partners (regional unit, customer, installation companies, etc.) and other external partners
  5. Ensure transparent and extensive communication of information, knowledge and experiences from other projects
Qualifications
  • You are experienced in Railway Systems and will provide technical and managerial leadership in your areas of expertise.
  • You have a degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and colleagues from other cultural environments (intercultural experience)
