This is a development and building company that primarily focuses on hotels, retail redevelopments, and multi-residential projects. The business is in sound financial shape, run by astute directors with proven experience in navigating all parts of the economic cycle. They pride themselves on shaping a down-to-earth team culture with a complete solutions-driven client ethic. They are now looking to identify a Site Manager for a project commencing in the new year. The project itself is a $30M build comprising 68 hotel rooms, 9 apartments, plus retail spaces and a conference room. This will require the staged demolition of an existing heritage building with structural steel, Comflor, and façade system structure, interfacing with a heritage façade. The project is envisaged to be 20 months. We are looking for a trade-qualified Site Manager with 8+ years of experience and a trade carpentry background. Experience in delivering hotels or apartment projects would be ideal. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors and trades, cost control, organizing relevant materials, equipment and access, and ensuring occupational health and safety (OSH). A strong command of fit-out and services coordination, as well as an understanding of passive fire systems, is essential.
