Description The Architectural Drafter plays a pivotal role in the construction process by translating architectural concepts into detailed plans. This professional contributes to the realization of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects by producing accurate technical drawings and closely collaborating with design and construction teams. Responsibilities •Review architectural concepts and project specifications. •Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand technical requirements. •Produce detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. •Ensure compliance of drawings with industry standards and current regulations. •Work closely with design, engineering and construction teams. •Incorporate feedback and necessary modifications throughout the design process. •Develop detailed execution plans to guide construction teams in the field. •Ensure the clarity and precision of the information appearing on the plans. •Organize and maintain accurate documentation of drawings and modifications. •Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of documentation. Requirements •Training in building design, architecture, or equivalent, an asset. •Relevant experience in the field (construction, architecture, structure), an asset. •Organized, structured thinking, good ability to concentrate and adapt. •Proficiency in Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) software, such as AutoCad and/or Revit. •Mastery of reading plans. •Good understanding of regulations and building codes.
