This position will assist in managing outsource suppliers’ Social Compliance management program and initiatives. - Maintain SC database, monitor, enforce CAPA, track and develop Supplier SC performance rating /Scorecard KPI report to clearly convey the current achievement and historical trends related to compliance, non-compliance(s), progress and/and improvement made.
- Evaluate and assess supplier SC audit reports.
- Develop and maintain materials and dashboard for the communication of SC initiatives and key performance indicators (KPI) to all internal and external audiences, ensuring overall messaging consistency across business units and throughout corporate communications.
- Involve in meeting and work collaboratively to engage suppliers and raise awareness of SC programs. To ensure effective communication methods are in place to communicate business ethics, SC targets and performance.
- Conduct onsite / virtual social compliance audit – full audit, surveillance audit and/or verification audit.
- Partner with internal departments and external (suppliers) to enhance and expand programs, metrics, and communications.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining SOP on suppliers’ SC management program.
- Assist in evaluating SC initiatives and stay updated on industry /local /international standards changes; analyze results and to continuously improve compliance programs that bring value to the business.
- Assist in new supplier evaluation and qualification.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external organizations.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor law, communications, business, or a related discipline. Knowledge of international, national and local laws and standards that apply to labor compliance experience.
- 2-5 years related experience in SC auditing, sustainable business, communications, and/or SC related project management.
- Prefer to have Knowledge in SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP, CTPAT, ISO9001, ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO45001 and/or other SC related field.
- Well versed in Malaysian labor law and International labor Organization (ILO) Standards. Knowledge in APAC countries’ labor law is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluent in English, Mandarin(preferred)
- Excellent organizational and project skills.
- Computer Literacy, specifically in MS Excel (particularly data trending and analysis), MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access experience also preferred.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible in job rotation (when needed).
- Travel required (10%)
