We are recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel is responsible for managing the provision of comprehensive legal support across all functions of the organization, ensuring that the Company’s legal interests are preserved. This role requires a proactive legal professional who can navigate complex legal matters, offer strategic advice, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong background in corporate law, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and experience with financial services and payments industry specific legal is a plus. Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited law school
- Qualified and licensed lawyer to practice law in Bahrain and other jurisdictions
- A minimum 5+ PQE years in broad based legal practice practicing corporate law preferably in financial services or payments industry
- Knowledge of laws and regulations in Bahrain, and the GCC
- Excellent communication both Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
