Contract Hardware Test Engineer (R&D / EMC) Job Description: 1 year contract MNC Completion Bonus Central Responsibilities Understand test standards and relate test requirements/specifications to perform hardware tests on products. Design the test fixture, setup, perform tests, evaluate and troubleshoot failures, and record results in standard test reports. Design test setups for various tests (environmental and EMC tests). Support and perform hardware tests according to IEC61000-4-4, IEC61010, IEC 60721-3-3, IEC60068-2-6 and robustness standards. Set up tests for environmental and EMC testing. Coordinate with HW designers to analyze test results and investigate failures. Document test results according to company standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant roles. Application of relevant EMC and safety standards, understanding of external approval requirements (LVD, UL, CSA, marine, etc.). Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus. Knowledge of schematic and layout design is a plus. Strong team player with a good learning spirit, ability to work independently and share ideas openly.
