Technologist, Business Continuity (BCMS) Program Manager

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery programs.
- Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure that factory and corporate business functions have an effective and comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery plan.
- Work closely with manufacturing sites to identify and interface with their business continuity and disaster recovery needs.
- Develop and deliver training programs on business continuity and disaster recovery best practices.
- Responsible for the strategic oversight of the business continuity program of the company.
- Test and evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
- Complete and maintain the business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessment (RA) requirements to enable the development of the business continuity plan.
- Coordinate and participate in exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of the business continuity plans (BCP) and disaster recovery plans.
- During or after an incident, collect status and or result of incident management, analyze and determine improvements of procedure or processes.
- Respond to customer inquiries/request and coordinate with related sites or corporate functions to complete the response.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in the field of business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Engage with executive leadership to report on the status of business continuity management system.
- Maintain the company’s BCMS certification, supervise 3rd party audits and regulatory audits, as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement of the BCMS program.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery program development.
- Strong understanding of BCMS methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in implementing and auditing ISO 22301.
- Experience in developing and conducting exercises of BCPs.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in a technology manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
