Junior Medical Technologist (Public Healthcare | Paediatric) - Ref:HC

Job Scope: To perform Paediatric Urology investigations which include Simple Urodynamics Study, Complex Urodynamics Study, Uroflow studies, Residual Urine Measurement, etc. To perform Paediatric Surgery Outpatient Day Procedures including change of Gastrostomy tube/button, Rectal washout and Clean Intermittent Catheterisation (CIC). To schedule sedation team and anaesthetic team support for the above-mentioned investigations and procedures that may require sedation or general anaesthesia. To provide appropriate instructions to patients for follow-up review at the specialist clinic. Attend to patients’ inquiries and provide them with accurate information. To participate in department service quality and improvement programs. Ad hoc duties as assigned. Responsible for equipment and instruments calibration. Assist in setting up the machine or equipment for the study. To perform Uroflowmetry studies and Residual Urine measurements as requested by doctors. Job Requirements: A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science / Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent Preferably 1-2 years of related work experience in clinical service.
