Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Our well-established client, in the field of equipment rental, is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support their activities.

• Inspect, service and maintain construction equipment, including earthmoving and compaction equipment as well as aerial equipment such as cherry pickers and hydraulic platforms;
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs;
• Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning properly;
• Maintain documentation relating to inspections, maintenance and work orders.

Requirements:

• DEP in Construction Equipment or Industrial Mechanics, or similar;
• At least one year of experience with heavy equipment, (experience in the equipment rental industry is an asset);
• Available to be on call evenings and weekends;
• Valid Class 5 driver's license;
• French, functional English.
