It has worked hard to create a strong foundation and reputation that has been invaluable in establishing excellent working relationships with many of Canada’s top insurance providers.  The ideal candidate has his/her RIBO Level 1 license with 1 or more years’ experience in a Service Broker capacity and will possess exceptional communication skills. Job Responsibilities: · Provide friendly, professional service at all times. · Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation. · Process renewals and endorsements. · Process quotes for auto and property insurance. · Apply changes to existing policies. · Anticipate clients' insurance needs, such as policy renewals. · Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters. · Research insurance companies' policies and negotiate with underwriters to find the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price. · Stay current with changes in the insurance market and in the clients' industries. · Provide claims assistance. · Win accounts against competitors. · Provide assistance with payment issues. · Achieve monthly targets and goals. · Work as a team to answer client phone calls and emails in a timely manner. The compensation package is attractive with a performance-driven bonus plan. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
