Together, we're shaping a new future --- do you want to join us for the journey?What will you doYour aim as an Engineering & Project Director is to lead the Product Engineering NCD/NPD and PMO team in Amsterdam to ensure new products meet specifications, quality, compliance and sustainability standards You are part of the operations team and report to the Chief Operations Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure Excellence: Deliver products on time, within budget, and in compliance with all standards. Guarantee technical soundness and feasibility through thorough reviews.Manage Resources: Allocate resources effectively, plan for future capacity, and manage the Product Development budget.Lead the Team: Engage, motivate, inspire, and coach team members to achieve goals and manage stakeholders. Facilitate cooperation between innovation teams, production sites, and supplier engineering teams.Develop and Implement Roadmaps: Manage competence matrices, drive capability development, and contribute to the execution of the global Bugaboo innovation and operations strategy.Drive Efficiency: Implement agile techniques to speed time-to-market and steer continuous improvement.Direct Project Execution: Manage PMO direction, coordination, and execution of concept and product development projects. Coordinate staffing with department heads and standardize project management methodology, processes, systems, and tools. Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and quality to meet objectives.What you will bring to the tableMechanical/Industrial Engineering background preferred, or extensive leadership experience in Engineering, Design, or Innovation teams.
