We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be offered a fixed-term employment contract. About the Job Perform as Leads / Sub-lead / Senior Engineer in project execution and take ownership of specific tasks in a project:
- Technical responsibility of Material Requisition
- Performing Design Calculations
- Coordination with other disciplines
- Forecasting of MTOs for design area
- Reviewing vendor documents
- Correctly interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, bathymetric survey, metocean data for incorporation into structural design basis
- Ensures optimum engineering design compliance to codes and performance and timely issuance of engineering deliverables to Client
- Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering
- Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers and adheres to the committed manhours and budget
- Ensure timely internal and external reporting on engineering/requisitioning activities to the group leader
- Meets quality objectives of the project
- Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning
- Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience in design and execution of projects in offshore facilities.
- Minimum 3.5 in CGPA or 2nd Class Upper.

- Static in-place
- Dynamic in-place
- Spectral Fatigue
- Lifting analysis
- Load-out analysis
- On-bottom
- Pile driveability analysis
- Frequent user of SESAM
- Frequent user of Abaqus / Ansys
- Seismic analysis (ELE and ALE)
- Blast and fire structural collapse analysis
- Vibration analysis
- Wind fatigue analysis
