Senior Quality Engineer

We are looking for:

Senior Quality Engineer

Job Description:

1. Design, implement, and manage a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure high product and operational quality.
2. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance and drive improvements in quality standards.
3. Oversee quality assurance for incoming materials, in-process checks, and outgoing products.
4. Implement quality control plans for each product line to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality compliance, conduct audits, and manage corrective actions.
6. Manage Material Return Board (MRB) and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes for product defects.
7. Support the NPI phase by developing quality plans and ensuring supplier and manufacturing readiness.
8. Assist procurement in supplier qualifications and periodic evaluations, particularly for critical components.
9. Monitor supplier performance, track quality metrics, and oversee corrective actions (8D reports).
10. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, TS 16949, cGMP).
11. Supervise and develop quality inspection staff and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
2. At least 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management - Systems, preferably in manufacturing or quality-focused environments.
3. Strong background in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA), with experience in managing quality processes in a manufacturing setup.
4. Knowledge of ISO standards including ISO 2859 (sampling), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO TS 16949 (automotive).
5. Familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) for maintaining product safety and consistency.
6. Experience with Six Sigma methodologies, with Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
7. Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement programs using Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
