Job description An experienced L2 Data & Finance Support Engineer with a solid foundation in data warehousing, banking operations, and Informatica ETL is needed for this position. The applicant should be skilled in working with cross-functional teams, managing and maintaining corporate data applications, and effectively resolving problems. This position is shift-based. Responsibilities:

1. Provide L2 support for data and finance applications, addressing user issues and maintaining SLAs.
2. Manage and troubleshoot data integration workflows using Informatica ETL tools.
3. Monitor and optimise data warehouse systems, ensuring data integrity and performance.
4. Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and suggest preventive measures.
5. Collaborate with development teams to transition new features and updates to production.
6. Monitor system performance and capacity, forecasting future requirements.
7. Adhere to incident and change management processes, maintaining accurate documentation.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting .
3. 3-5 years of experience in application support or development, with a focus on data integration and finance systems.
4. Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle or MS SQL databases.
5. Expertise in Informatica ETL and data warehouse systems.
6. Familiarity with Java application servers and web servers is a plus.
7. Knowledge of OpenShift, microservices, VMs, and networking is advantageous.
8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
9. Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
10. Willingness to work in shifts.
