Import/Export & Customs (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time You will be required to lead the compliance of end-to-end Logistics for MY, SG & PHP, managing the operation of external warehouses including bonded warehouses. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Coordinate with the planning of shipping from the manufacturing location.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinate logistics activities to ensure delivery of products meet specifications.
  • Lead brokerage compliance and all customs clearance related activities for import shipments.
  • Application and renewal of MIDA certifications for manufacturing raw materials duty exemption.
  • Timely updates on C1 and CJ5 application for SST exemption.
  • Lead the operations of the external warehouses (including bonded warehouse), ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
  • Negotiate prices and rates in accordance to company guidelines and standards.
  • SIRIM application for electronics demo (for engineering team) equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures, particularly for bonded warehouse shipments.
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with local and international trade regulations.
  • Handle documentation for bonded warehouse activities, customs clearance, and delivery logistics.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to external warehouse and transporter to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate with import shipment and shunting transporters for efficient and timely delivery arrangements.
  • Coordinate inventory control and stock accuracy in both bonded and non-bonded storage facilities.
  • Participate or lead process effectiveness and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Other job functions as and when required by the department.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and any other related fields.
  • 5 years of experience in import-export process is required.
  • Well versed in total logistics, supply chain and customs requirements.
  • Experience in web-based ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Well versed in tender process, vendor selection and negotiating/developing contracts/logistics arrangements.
