Job Opportunity: Systems CoordinatorA specialist warehouse and distribution company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, customer service-oriented Systems Coordinator in Gauteng.ResponsibilitiesIT Support:Collect and issue equipmentInvestigate missing/damaged equipmentConfigure handheld and RF scannersEnsure printers are added and replacedDiagnose and resolve software-related issuesDiagnose and resolve network-related problemsPerform technical and network support on all PCs, printers, handheld scanners, and RF terminals in the DC, Export, and Return CentreProvide end-user support on Microsoft Office ApplicationsSystem Support:Ensure daily systems (Shop5) backup is doneProvide user support on Shop5Add new users (staff requisitions) and delete old users (termination forms)Ensure user setup on the system matches job descriptionsResolve any system-related problems including dispatch errorsEnsure user support on the Voice system (Voice Console)Resolve problems related to Voice pickingMake changes on the system (Shop5)Operations Support:Monitor user setups (run all SMASA users on COGNOS)Monitor printer page usage and keep recordsMaintain printer maintenance kit statusSend all necessary reports on time (daily equipment, late picks reports)Issue pickers tickets during break timeFacilitate picker training on voice pickingProfileThe Systems Coordinator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user computers such as servers.Minimum RequirementsGrade 12 or NQF4 equivalent qualificationIT Diploma or degree advantageousTechnical understanding of different computer systems, operating systems, and applicationsKnowledge of hardware and software troubleshootingComputer security knowledgeKnowledge of Shop 5, Cognos, Windows, B3, and Voice Console WMSComputer literate (MS Office)
