At the heart of this urban transformation is The Exchange TRX, a city defining development designed to create the ultimate experiential environment, from retail to dining, entertainment and world class hotels. The Exchange TRX is a 17-acre integrated development set to become one of Asia’s leading lifestyle hubs. The mall is a 1.3 million sq ft of next-generation retail space that will include a 10-acre rooftop park. We would like to invite aspiring individuals to apply for the following role: EH&S Manager (The Exchange TRX) The EHS Manager is responsible for assisting the Head of Security and EH&S. Your role is to develop and execute by representing the asset in managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental and safety programs. Your duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for developing and conducting periodic safety audits/assessments.
  • Develop and establish Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP), Emergency Mitigation Procedures (EMP) and related budgets.
  • Execute, develop, and implement environmental and safety management systems.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of EH&S regulations and understand how they impact business.
  • Interact with government agencies and lead on-site visits from EH&S, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure firefighting systems and building management systems are working accordingly and responsible for follow-up with suggested corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain long-term mutually beneficial relationships with tenants, owners, the local community, and other key internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a training matrix and associated training for subordinates and the rest of the team.
  • Safety refers to the condition of being protected from harm or other non-desirable outcomes. It also refers to the control of recognized hazards in order to achieve an acceptable level of risks.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in OSH / NIOSH
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar capacity at a managerial level
  • Experience in Emergency preparedness and planning.
  • Strong knowledge in Fire Fighting System and Building Control System
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive, independent, team player, organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a multi-tasking environment.
