Your role
Programme overview:- The purpose is to support the long-term sustainability of businesses and to bring trust and confidence to society and the financial markets.
- Technology, including AI, is transforming the way that we deliver audits as it’s embedded in everything that they do.
- It allows them to focus on using key skills in analysis, exercising professional judgment, and providing powerful insights to EY teams and clients.
- Working in teams EY analyzes data, considers sustainability metrics, and tests business controls to determine whether financial statements are accurate.
- Learning from your team as they coach and guide you in your day-to-day tasks.
- Working across a portfolio of clients assigned to you. This will involve a mixture of hybrid working – traveling to client offices, working in the EY office, and occasionally from home. It will vary by client and will depend on the requirements of the team.
- Studying for a Professional Qualification requires attending in-person courses, self-study, and sitting exams.
- Attending EY learning courses to continually learn new skills.
- Regularly meeting your support network including your Career Counsellor, and Apprenticeship Coach to track your performance and help you progress your career.
- Participating in a range of other activities that help you build your network and support the performance of your business.
About you
Eligibility for applying:- Professional qualification: Chartered accountancy with ICAEW or ICAS
- EY operates an open access policy, meaning it doesn’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone.
- You will, however, need to be working towards an honors degree in any subject, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, or your home language if you do not hold English Language GCSE, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.
